WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Founded in 2012, Our Charity was first established in Bangladesh, and since the start we have been dedicated to help those in need to funding and delivering charitable services. 
Our work has so far helped with medical treatment costs and aid, including our involvement with Dristi Charity for the visually impaired in Bangladesh, and providing monetary aid to help tackle poverty. Furthermore, Our charity is proud to have been able to have the opportunity to aid the Rohingya Refugees during the crisis in 2017, providing medical aid, food supplies, clothing and donations. In 2018, Work for Smile provided aid to Potho Shishu, School for the orphaned in Bangladesh. 

Originally established in Bangladesh in 2012, Work for Smile has relocated to Manchester, UK since 2016. Following relocation, Work For Smile UK has been working hard with the help of our members and volunteers to help individuals in our local area. In light of our integration and relocation to the wonderful city of Manchester, we have incorporated the colours of the bee to include the spirit of Manchester in the work of our locally-run charity. Here at Work For Smile UK, to allow for better organisation and improvement of the quality of help that we can provide, our aid has been divided into what is known as Our Projects- different forms of aid, better organised to allow for donations, fundraising, volunteering and charitable aid to be more specific and efficient. 

At Work for Smile UK, We strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance, our charity being a locally-run non-profit organisation with the aim to help locals struggling from relative poverty, and those who can often be forgotten in society.
